Egyptian border guards kill an African migrant
Egyptian officials say border guards fatally shot an African woman and detained five others as they tried to cross the border into Israel.
A security official said Tuesday the 38-year old Eritrean woman didn't heed the warning shots, while five others, including a 4-year old child, surrendered. A local hospital doctor said she was shot in the abdomen and left leg. Both officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to speak to the media. (AP)
