MK Eldad says Barak 'couldn't care less about Compulsory Education Law'

None

Knesset Member Arieh Eldad (National Union) criticized Defense Minister Ehud Barak during a meeting on the construction of educational institutions in the West Bank settlements and accused Barak of choosing which laws he wishes to uphold.

"He couldn't care less about the Compulsory Education Law which requires classrooms be provided for all students, and he refuses to even allow caravans to be stationed in certain communities to serve as classrooms and kindergartens. He is waging his political struggle against the Jewish communities at the expense of the children, and hiding behind the planning and construction laws," Eldad said. (Shmulik Grossman)
