After Mitchell meeting, Barak says to meet with Palestinian PM

Defense Minister Ehud Barak is to meet with Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad in the coming days, he announced at the end of his meeting with special US envoy George Mitchell in Tel Aviv. Details of the meeting's venue were not released.
At the end of the meeting, Barak noted the improvement in the Palestinians handling of internal security and the economic growth in the Palestinian Authority. The Barak and Fayyad meeting was set as part of the effort to push the proximity talks. (Roni Sofer)
