IDF officer suspected of transferring information to Hezbollah

An IDF master sergeant from northern Israel was arrested on suspicion he transferred information to Lebanese elements affiliated with Hezbollah, it was cleared for publication on Wednesday.
According to the allegations, the suspect assisted several civilians involved in smuggling drugs across the border. He also befriended Lebanese elements and gave them information on the alignment of forces on the border, sensitive locations, and spots along the border where they could smuggle drugs without being detected. His arrest was remanded several times by the Northern Command Military Court. (Hanan Greenberg and Ahiya Raved)
