Erdan: Reexamine refusal to hold show for Shalit in Eshkol Park

Environmental Protection Minister Gilad Erdan contacted Israel Park and Nature Authority Secretary General Eli Amitai with a request to reexamine the decision not to allow a philharmonic performance in Eshkol National Park for Gilad Shalit.
The Park Authority declined an initial request to hold the event out of concern that it of a political nature. However, Erdan, one of the event's organizers, clarified that it is a humanitarian event, and, as such, "there is no reason not to allow the event." (Yael Darel)
