Report: Iran arms Syria with advanced radar system

Iran has sent Syria a sophisticated radar system that could jeopardize Israel's ability to strike the Islamic Republic's nuclear facilities, Israeli and American sources told the Wall Street Journal.
According to the report, the radar system would also strengthen Syria's defenses by giving early warning of IAF sorties. Should Syria share this information with Hezbollah, the organization would gain better precision in directing its missiles, and bolster its defenses against Israeli jets. (Ynet)
