Affiliates of Defense Minister Ehud Barak said he expressed reservations regarding the meeting between Industry Trade and Labor Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer and Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davotuglo, but did not veto the rendezvous.
"He didn't think it proper to meet with the Turks in light of Erdogan's actions and remarks. He thought they wanted the meeting in order to demand apologies and compensation," one official said. (Roni Sofer)
