Prosecutors say one of the suspects in an alleged spy ring has confessed to federal agents that he worked for Russia's intelligence service.
Prosecutors made the revelation in a letter to a magistrate judge in federal court in Manhattan on Thursday. They said Juan Lazaro, a resident of Yonkers, New York, made a lengthy post-arrest statement in which he admitted that Juan Lazaro is not his true name and that he passed letters to Russian intelligence.(AP)
