Iraqi police and hospital officials say a bomb has wounded four people in a central Baghdad neighborhood.
Police say the explosion at 7:40 local time appears to have targeted Shiite pilgrims on their way to a shrine for Friday prayers. The bombing took place next to Firdos Square, which became a widely recognized Baghdad landmark after US Marines pulled down a statue of Saddam Hussein there in April 2003. (AP)
