PM's Office: Negotiations– only through German mediator
The Prime Minister's Office responded to reports in the Arab media, according to which there has been progress in negotiations to release captive soldier Gilad Shalit. "The only authorized negotiations channel that continues to operate on both sides is the German mediator."
"As always, the Prime Minister's Office has no intention of commenting on unofficial reports in various media outlets," the statement read. (Roni Sofer)
