Rightist agree to avoid provocation ahead of PM's visit to US
Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch reached an agreement with right-wing activists from Ateret Cohanim, according to which they will avoid clashes on Sunday with Palestinian in an east Jerusalem structure dubbed the Yemenite Synagogue.
The decision was made ahead of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's scheduled visit to Washington and Israel's commitment to refrain from provocation during the construction freeze and indirect talks with Palestinians. (Roni Sofer)
