Al-Zahar tells Gazan families of prisoners that demands unchanged
Senior Hamas official Dr. Mahmoud al-Zahar told the parents of Palestinians imprisoned in Israel who are protesting in front of his home in the Gaza Strip, "Our demands have not changed. We are committed to continue on our path even if our blood is spilled in order to release the prisoners from jail."
The parents held a rally outside al-Zahar's house in Gaza with the demand that Hamas not fold under international and Israeli pressures in an effort to strike a prisoner swap deal in exchange for Gilad Shalit. (Ali Waked)
