Turkish media reported on Monday that Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said his country would sever ties with Israel if it does not apologize for its raid on the Gaza-bound flotilla, in which nine Turkish citizens were killed.
Monday's remarks mark an escalation in Turkey's attitude towards Israel, as Ankara sources have in the past only said they would consider cutting ties with the Jewish state. (AFP)
