Cambodia hands over 2 bomb suspects to Thailand
Cambodia deported a Thai man and woman believed to be members of the anti-government "Red Shirt" movement and wanted in connection with a recent bomb attack in Bangkok, officials said.
Kobchai Boonplod, 42, and Varissareeya Boonsom, 42, were arrested Saturday in Siem Reap province after fleeing to Cambodia from Thailand. They were handed over to Thai authorities in Phnom Penh and flown to Bangkok on Monday morning, said Thai Assistant National Police Chief Aswin Kwanmuang. (AP)
