Average wage in April fell 5.1% to NIS 8,235

The average monthly wage in April was NIS 8,235 ($2,116) according to data from the Central Bureau of Statistics. This constitutes a fall of 5.1% compared to the March average of NIS 8,657 ($2,225).
However, taking the Passover festival into account and the changes in the agricultural branch, the average real wage in April rose by some 2.5% compared to March. (Tani Goldstein)
