Greenpeace detains ship en route to Israel
Greenpeace announced that its activists boarded a ship transporting coal to Israel and are holding up its arrival at high seas. The activists are protesting plans to build another coal-fired power plant in Ashkelon.
The organization reported that three activists are on the ship and are demanding that the captain stop the ship and prevent the entry of coal into Israel. (Ynet)
