Meimad founder Rabbi Yehuda Amital dies at 85
Head of the Har Etzion hesder yeshiva and former minister, Rabbi Yehuda Amital, passed away at the age of 85 in his home in Jerusalem after battling a serious illness.
Amital was the founder of the Meimad movement and one of the heads of the religious Left. His funeral procession will leave from the Shmager funeral home to the Givat Shaul cemetery in Jerusalem. Thousands of people are expected to attend. (Kobi Nahshoni)
