Leftist-wing activists protest in Sheikh Jarrah
Some 200 left-wing protestors have arrived in the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah for a demonstration against the evacuation of three Arab families from their homes in favor of Jewish residents armed with a court order.
"You have no shame," the protestors chanted, adding that "there is no holiness in an occupied city." They tried to cross through police barriers in a bid to reach the Simeon the Just compound.
