Police deny shoving author David Grossman in Sheikh Jarrah
Police officials say eight left-wing protestors have been detained for questioning in the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah after blocking the entrance to Jewish homes.
Earlier, protestors said the police used violent means against them and pushed author David Grossman. The police said in response that Grossman was among the protestors who tried to break through a barrier and that the officers "used reasonable force" to stop him. (Shmulik Grossman)
