Israeli arrested in anti-fence rally

Some 50 Palestinians and left-wing activists protested against Israel's West Bank security fence at Beit Omar, near Bethlehem, on Saturday.

The activists say the protest was peaceful, but the IDF says they threw stones at forces. Soldiers fired tear gas and stun grenades at the protestors, and arrested one Israeli man. The Palestinians said later that a photographer and two 8-year old children were injured by the grenades. The IDF says it has received no reports of casualties. (Shmulik Grossman)
