Eilat residents protest against infiltrators

Hundreds of residents of Eilat took part in a protest convoy against the infiltrators living in the southern city under the slogan, "If the State doesn't stop them, we will stop them ourselves." The demonstrators are marching towards the central post office, where a rally will be held.
Some 7,000 infiltrators currently live in Eilat; most of them are not refugees. The city's mayor, Yitzhak Halevy, has demanded a fence be built to prevent infiltration from Egypt, and has called for the removal of anyone who does not hold refugee status. (Ahuva Mamus)
