Ministerial committee rejects bill prohibiting religious solicitation

The Ministerial Committee on Legislative Affairs has rejected a bill stating that any person soliciting religious conversion would be jailed.
The bill was initiated by Knesset Member Avraham Michaeli (Shas). Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar led the objection to the proposal. (Attila Somfalvi)
