The district attorney in northwestern Iran has suspended until further notice the execution of a death sentence imposed on a woman convicted of adultery for "humanitarian reasons."
Iran has withdrew its intention to stone the woman last week following international pressure, but did not reverse the death sentence it has imposed on the defendant. (Dudi Cohen)
