National security advisor: US commitment 'Israel's security policy'

National Security Advisor Uzi Arad told the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that US President Barack Obama's commitment to Israel's security is "our insurance policy".
"The United States is basically saying, openly, that it will not allow Israel's security to be challenged. President Obama and his administration acknowledge Israel's need to answer every threat it may face with security means," Arad stressed. (Roni Sofer)
