Chief of Staff says will adopt Eiland report; act to correct faults

IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi announced that he will adopt the conclusions of the Eiland Committee that probed the deadly Navy raid on a Gaza-bound ship.
Ashkenazi added that internal IDF investigations also found no failure or negligence in the fighters and commanders' functioning during the operation. "There were faults that must be corrected, and the military will act accordingly," he said. (Hanan Greenberg)
