MK Akonis won't back MK Tibi's bills due to flotilla support

MK Ofir Akonis (Likud) announced in the Knesset plenary that he would no longer consider backing any bills proposed by MK Ahmed Tibi (United Arab List-Ta'al) because of the latter's support for the Libyan flotilla to Gaza.
"I declare here and now that I will not promote Tibi's bills because he supports the terror flotilla," Akonis said. Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin told Akonis the remarks were unbefitting to the chairman of the Knesset Finance Committee. (Attila Somfalvi)
