The Sudanese government said in response to the International Criminal Court's indictment against President Omar al-Bashir, "The court in The Hague is a political court."
Al-Bashir is accused of inciting genocide in the Darfur region. He is the first incumbent leader to be indicted by the ICC. (AFP)
