Libyan ship reports Israel made contact, threatened, and received response
A representative of the Gaddafi Fund on the Libyan making its way to the Gaza Strip said that Israel sent a threat via signaler that it will dispatch Navy soldiers to intercept the ship if it does not change its route.
The representative, Mashalla Zebi, reported to news agencies that Israel's attempts to contact the ship included clear messages that the Navy will block its entry to Gaza and will allow it to dock in Ashdod. According to Zebi, the ship responded, contrary to Israeli reports, that it is carrying aid supplies only and does not wish to create a provocation. (AFP)
