June sees substantial drop in travels to Turkey

The number of travelers who flew from Israel to Turkey in Turkish airline companies has dropped considerably in June, according to Aviation Authority data.
According to the data, Turkey has dropped to the ninth place as a favorite destination for Israeli travelers after being ranked the second most favorite destination. During the month of June, some 42,000 travelers flew to Turkey from the Ben Gurion Airport, compared with 77,000 in June 2009 – a 45% drop. (Yoav Zitun)
