Lebanon: Cellular technician charged with spying for Israel

A Lebanese citizen working as a technician in a local cellular company has been charged with spying for Israel and could face a death sentence, the maximum punishment in Lebanon for espionage.
Lebanese authorities claim that since April 2009 they have arrested 70 suspects who allegedly spied for Israel, including army and police officers. (AFP)
