UK: Gaza protesters win shorter sentences

Seven protesters arrested after a demonstration in front of the Israeli embassy in London against the invasion of Gaza have won reductions in their sentences.

More than 100 people were arrested after last year's demonstration, when protesters burned Israeli flags, threw bottles and stones at police and attacked a coffee shop. Seventy-eight protesters were charged following the protests, most with violent disorder. (AP)
