MK Zoabi: State accustomed to revoking Arabs' rights

MK Hanin Zoabi (Balad) said in response to the revocation of her Knesset privileges on Tuesday,"This is a dangerous precedence in the Knesset towards the Arab population and its elected representatives and a hostile message."
MK Zoabi added she was not surprised that a country that denies the basic rights of a million Arab citizens would revoke the rights of a Knesset member who faithfully represented her public. She further noted she will exhaust all measures, including petitioning with legal and international bodies, "in order to curb the vengeful instinct of the Knesset's automatic majority." (Ynet)
