Report: Israel in contact with Libya ship to transfer aid

Israel is in indirect contact with the Gaddafi foundation, responsible for the Libyan ship carrying aid to the Gaza Strip, via Arab and Western sources, according to a report in London-based al-Sharq al-Awsat.
According to the report, Israel is trying to settle the crisis before it flares up and expressed its willingness to transfer the aid on the ship to the Gaza Strip without having to attack the ship. A senior Libyan official reported to the newspaper that negotiations are being done through a third party. (Roee Nahmias)
