Litzman: Cut defense budget for education, health budgets

Deputy Health Minister Yakov Litzman said the time has come to reduce the State's defense budget for the good of the health and education budgets.
"It's time that we say for the first time that education and health come before defense," the deputy minister said at the Knesset. "All these past years the education and health budgets have been neglected. I am not belittling the defense budget, heaven forbid, but these two budgets affect us all." (Meital Yasur Beit-Or)
