The Petah Tikva Magistrates' Court extended the remand of alleged Jewish terrorist Haim Pearlman by seven days. During hearing held in his absence, the police allged that he committed four homicides and seven attempted homicides in 1997, 1998, and 2004.

His lawyer, Attorney Adi Kidar, said that his client denies all allegations made against him and that he is remaining in detention only to avoid being pressured by various officials. The police asked that his remand be extended by 15 days, but the court only granted a seven-day extension. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
