Lieberman thanks Egyptian Intelligence chief for help in Libyan ship affair

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman spoke on the telephone with Egyptian Intelligence chief Omar Suleiman and thanked him for his cooperation in the matter of the Libyan ship that planned to sail to the Gaza Strip but eventually diverted to Egypt.

 

Lieberman thanked Suleiman for his part in ending the affair without confrontation. The two also discussed the implementation of Israel's decision to changes its blockade policy on the Gaza Strip. They agreed to meet during Suleiman's next visit in Israel. (Roni Sofer)
