Lebanese Army says IDF patrol crossed border in attempt to abduct shepherd

The Lebanese Military claims that an IDF patrol crossed the Blue Line: "An enemy patrol of eight crossed the border and attempted to abduct a shepherd," said a Lebanese Military spokesman. He added the shepherd got away and that the IDF force made it way 20 yards into Lebanon.

And IDF source told Ynet that the patrol spotted a figure approaching the Blue Line and according to SOP, began approaching it to establish presence, but did not cross the border. The source also denied reports of attempted abduction. (AFP, Hagai Einav)
