Court orders release of former Congo warlord Lubanga

The International Criminal Court on Thursday ordered the release of accused Congo militia leader Thomas Lubanga, saying it had no grounds for keeping him after his trial in The Hague was put on hold.
The court halted the trial of Lubanga, who had pleaded not guilty to charges of recruiting child soldiers, last week, saying that the prosecutor had refused to hand over information to the defence. (Reuters)
