A French regional security official says four people have been detained on suspicion of having opened fire on police officers during recent clashes between youths and police in Grenoble.
Brigitte Jullien says seven others were also detained for carrying illegal weapons or objects that could be used as projectiles. The suspects were taken into custody early Sunday. (AP)
