Ashton says cannot comprehend Shalit family's pain

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman met in Jerusalem with EU Foreign Affairs Chief Catherine Ashton. During a joint press conference Ashton said she cannot comprehend the enormous pain captive soldier Gilad Shalit's parents, Aviva and Noam, are feeling four years after the kidnapping.
Ashton, who is scheduled to meet with the Shalit family on Monday, reiterated her call to allow the Red Cross to visit Shalit in captivity. (Roni Sofer)
