IDF to ministers: We will start building anti-infiltration fence in Nov.
An IDF representative told the ministers during the cabinet meeting that construction of a fence along the border between Israel and Egypt in order to block entry to infiltrators will start in November. Defense Ministry Secretary General Udi Shani, who was also present in the meeting, confirmed.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his dismay at the delay in erecting the fence and ordered that the IDF update the political-defense cabinet on the construction's progress once every three months. (Roni Sofer)
