Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch commended a decision to deploy additional Border Guard forces on the border with Egypt.
"The fence, together with skilled Border Guard squadrons, will constitute a proper dam for the wave of tens of thousands of infiltrators," he said after a debate on Israel's immigration policies. (Roni Sofer)
