A UN food agency says it wants to double the number of people it feeds in drought-stricken Niger, aiming to reach some 8 million by the end of the year.
But the World Food Program said Tuesday it only has half the money necessary to fund its scaled-up operation, whose cost has soared to $213 million. (AP)
