IDF force shoots suspicious Palestinian dead near Barkan

IDF soldiers opened fire at a group of Palestinians approaching the settlement of Barkan in the West Bank believed to have been trying to infiltrate the community. The soldiers initially fired in the air, but when the Palestinians did not halt, the troops opened fire at them. One Palestinian was killed and another fled the scene.
The soldiers were positioned in the area due to repeated infiltration into the community. The Civil Administration informed the relevant Palestinian bodies of the incident. (Hanan Greenberg)
