Livni welcomes proposed changes to UK law affecting IDF officers

Opposition Chairperson Tzipi Livni welcomed the proposed changes to a British law that enables arrest warrants to be issued against Israeli politicians and generals who visit the United Kingdom.
"The free world must retain the distinction between real war criminals that must stand trial and those fighting terror who harm civilians, especially IDF officers and soldiers," said Livni, who spoke with Britain's ambassador to Israel, Tom Philips. (Roni Sofer)
