Venezuela warns of aggression, seeks dialogue

Venezuela is warning that there is a greater probability of military action by Colombia forces supported by the United States than in the past 100 years and is urging dialogue with Colombia's incoming president.
Venezuela's UN Ambassador Jorge Valero met UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Monday and asked him to distribute a letter to the other UN states expressing hope that President-elect Juan Manuel Santos, who takes office next month, does not follow "the warmongering plans" of the US government and Colombia's outgoing President Alvaro Uribe.
