At least 20 confirmed dead in Pakistan jet crash

Rescue workers have recovered the bodies of at least 20 people from the wreckage of a Pakistani passenger plane which crashed near the capital on Wednesday, an official said.

The Airblue jet was carrying 146 passengers and six crewmen. "So far, rescue people have recovered at least 20 dead bodies," Ramzan Sajid, a spokesman for Islamabad's Capital Development Authority, told Reuters. (Reuters)
