Arab League discusses direct negotiations with PA's Abbas

The Arab League's Monitoring Committee for the Arab Peace Initiative discussed the renewal of direct negotiations with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
"The issue is not US pressure, the question is what is are Palestinian interests, and this is clear – they want progress with indirect talks and we support them," said an aide to the League's general secretary. (AFP)
