Jerusalem Pride Parade underway

Approximately 2,000 people are participating in the Jerusalem Pride Parade and began marching from the city's Gan Ha'Atzmaut towards the Knesset compound. Police arrested three right-wing female activists who were carrying eggs which they allegedly planned to hurl at the marchers.
Meanwhile, some 300 haredim gathered in the city's Shabbat Square and are demonstrating against the parade. (Ronen Medzini)
