Aviva Shalit outside PM's Office: I want to celebrate my son's birthday
Noam and Aviva Shalit, the parents of captive soldier Gilad Shalit, protested together with dozens of supporters outside the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem on Sunday, ahead of the weekly cabinet meeting.
The soldier's mother carried a sign saying, "Sara (Netanyahu), I also want to celebrate my son's birthday." On Tuesday, the family will mark 1,500 days since Gilad fell captive in Gaza. The day of the protest will also mark his birthday on the Jewish calendar. (Ahiya Raved)
